Caked began long before the storefront ever opened. At just fifteen years old, Mandy took her first cake decorating class and quickly discovered a love for baking that turned into a true passion. After creating a wedding cake for a family friend, word of mouth spread, and what started as a hobby grew alongside a full time career. For years, Mandy balanced her day job with nights and weekends spent designing custom cakes for life’s special moments. In June 2025, after being laid off from Blue Shield of California, she took a leap of faith and turned her lifelong passion into a business. Today, Caked is a joyful, community centered bakery where creativity, artistry, and emotion come together, with every cake designed to tell a story, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories.
